CEM stands for Common Era Ministries, and the dojo stresses a positive atmosphere that is profanity-, drug- and alcohol-free.

Here you or your child will learn and compete in Judo, an international and Olympic sport. As a martial art, judo is a powerful skill used for self defense. For fitness, judo incorporates all the muscles of the human body to develops strength and stamina.

There is no monthly fee or contracts to sign; although donations are greatly appreciated.

Those who are not currently a U.S. Judo Association member will have to purchase a $50 annual membership to compete.

As for clothing, those who want to get serious about judo can purchase a gi from the dojo, which also has some loaners available.

Otherwise, comfortable gym clothes and a positive  attitude are all that’s needed!
